In the Park
The obvious walking and hiking possibilities are limitless and can be combined with visits to the Baroque church, fishing lakes and nature trails. Among the Park's many inhabitants live Marmots, Ibis, Chamois and the rare Golden Eagles and Bearded Vultures.
In the Air
The area is also very popular with Para gliders, attracted by the beautiful scenery and excellent flying conditions. There are many gliding schools that offer tuition or tandem flights, if new to the sport.
On the Water
The River Isere is a 15 min drive away, from which you can raft or canoe. Annecy (1 1/2 drive) has a beautiful thermal lake ideal for wakeboarding.
Summer Snow
Tignes Glacier is just an hour drive away. With several lifts and a well maintained park, it is ideal for those who need a snowboarding or skiing fix before next winter.
